TRANSCONNECT^® wins at Factory Innovation Awards 2023

This year's HANNOVER MESSE attracted more than 130,000 visitors and over 4,000 exhibitors. That was almost twice as many as last year. The CEO of Deutsche Messe AG, Dr. Jochen Köckler, called it a "spirit of optimism".

Deservedly so. The world’s leading trade fair for industry was dynamic, bustling and full of energy. Solutions around digitalisation, improved working conditions through automation, AI, energy optimisation and management, connected and intelligent production as well as the new data ecosystem Manufacturing-X stood in focus. Our team on site with board member Stefan Ehrlich and BD Global Strategy Jürgen Kramer received many interested visitors for our automation platform TRANSCONNECT^® at the joint RETUNER stand. We were able to pass on a lot of information about our product and make new contacts. But one big milestone at the fair made us particularly happy:

The quality of data, its distribution among the various IT systems and the connection of humans as a decision-making factor on how to evaluate the data is our profession. This is precisely why the jury chose us in particular for the point “customer satisfaction”. The competition is one of the most important awards for smart factory software in Europe.

About the award

The Factory Innovation Award with a focus on innovation is organised by the Centre for Industry 4.0 at the University of Potsdam in cooperation with GITO Verlag. There were seven categories in total. An independent jury of top-class digital and industry experts, including journalists, consultants, users and researchers, selected one overall winner per category. The presentations of the finalists took place on 19 April as part of a digital pitch. The winners were announced live at HANNOVER MESSE.
