MANY PATHS, ONE DESTINATION:
ADVANTAGES OF AN UNIVERSAL INTEGRATION SERVER SUCH AS TRANSCONNECT®
There is no silver bullet for technical connection of systems. The respective integration scenarios, and the expectations associated with them, vary too widely. In principle, a distinction is made between universal adapters and special adapters for specific systems. The latter are required, in particular, for proprietary systems and predefined integration scenarios.
TRANSCONNECT® makes use of a universal adapter architecture. The reasons for this are obvious. Most current application systems are open, and feature interfaces at different levels. An integration can be implemented in different ways: by means of RESTfull services, SOAP, at the database level, or via file formats.
A UNIVERSAL SYSTEM SUCH AS TRANSCONNECT® OFFERS THREE ADVANTAGES.
- You can integrate almost any IT system with a reasonable effort. Dedicated programming operations are usually not required.
- Diverse integration scenarios help to meet customer’s needs in every detail. All transformations and processes can be modelled using the TRANSCONNECT® Manager.
- The integration process is as easy as using ready-made adapters with predefined integration scenarios.
