WHAT DOES SUPPORT FOR INSTALLED SYSTEMS COVER?
Our support covers all our services. Additional maintenance can be agreed individually. However, we do not maintain SAP systems.
WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?

  • For 1,000 messages per second

WHERE CAN I FIND FURTHER INFORMATION ON PUBLISHED RELEASES?

We are constantly working on improving TRANSCONNECT®. In order to regularly inform our customers about adjustments, enhancements and optimizations, we regularly publish all information on our new releases.

HOW AND HOW OFTEN IS THE SOFTWARE OF THE BASE SYSTEM UPDATED?
We deliver all updates and upgrades free of charge based on a maintenance contract. Larger updates are released usually once a year. Minor bug fixes and updates are released on an irregular basis approx. every 1-2 months. The updates are imported into the system via software installation.
WHAT TRAINING PERIOD DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR ADMINISTRATORS?

In a one-day workshop, we share the know-how needed for the maintenance and administration of TRANSCONNECT®. We offer a 2-day workshop for system developers who want to build and expand the TRANSCONNECT® repository on their own. More detailed knowledge transfer takes place in individually planned training courses.

HOW MANY SPECIALISTS SHOULD BE INVOLVED?
Two employees are required for administration, as well as system/application developers who have Java/XML/XSLT skills, for the commercial implementation of the communication, if necessary.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE NEEDED TO MANAGE TRANSCONNECT®?
Per installed system, at least 2 employees should be trained. It is irrelevant how many servers are integrated into a system. A system is characterized by a specific scenario/repository.
WHAT OTHER SUPPORT SERVICES FOR TRANSCONNECT® DOES SQL PROJEKT AG OFFER?

If requested, we can take over the entire integration project, prepare scenarios, or perform other advisory activities.

HOW BIG IS THE EFFORT TO INSTALL THE SYSTEM, OR TO REPLACE HARDWARE?
The system can be installed in one day per server. A new license key may be required when replacing hardware. We provide it free of charge.
CAN YOU INTEGRATE YOUR OWN DEVELOPMENTS?
In-house developments, like other systems, can be integrated via existing adapters or via your own adapters. For adapter development, we also offer separate training or develop adapters to suit your needs.
ARE TEMPLATES FOR STANDARD LINKS INCLUDED?
There are ready-made repositories for certain scenarios. Within the framework of project support, we also create scenarios based on your needs.
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED WAN BANDWIDTH FOR RFC/BAPI/WEB COMMUNICATION? E.G. 3 SYSTEMS PER SERVER IN TRANSACTION MODE < 1 MIN.
For operating RFC/BAPI with TRANSCONNECT®, there are no additional bandwidth requirements other than those for SAP standard communication via SAPGUI. The required bandwidth is determined by client requests/second and the response time of the SAP system.
